The Main Street Manager coordinates all aspects of the commercial revitalizaiton process, with considerable independent judgment and initiative, under the guidance of the board of directors. With the help of four volunteer committees, the Manager is responsible for:
Butler's Main Street Manager is Chelynne Curci. She began her role here in January 2012. Chelynne has her B.S. in Business Management from Grove City College, and her M.S. in Organizational Leadership from Geneva College, both in Pennsylvania. She has approximately two years experience working and volunteering with Butler Downtown as the Promotions Chair. Chelynne believes in the value and opportunities that our downtown core district holds. The success of the Main Street program in other communities all around the United States is evidence that not only is there interest in bringing these areas back to life, but also that the program's approach to revitalization is dedicated to help sustain communities' efforts into the Twenty-first century. |
