Butler Downtown, a state-designated, and nationally-accredited Main Street program, is dedicated to revitalizing the city's downtown business district.  Our non-profit organization has a fifteen-member Board of Directors and over forty volunteer committee members who meet regularly and are passionate about bringing new life to the town they love.  Downtown Butler has many assets that strip plazas, malls, and office parks cannot match - historic character, cultural amenities, existing infrastructure, pedestrian-friendly environments, and most importantly, a true sense of community.

Through the generous commitment of our five-year pledges and annual donations from businesses, organizations, government entities and individuals, Butler Downtown has been able to obtain the matching funds available through the State of Pennsylvania's Department of Community and Economic Development.  State funding, available for a total of five years, helps with our administration costs and provides the opportunity for business and property owners within the district to apply for matching grants in the Butler Downtown Facade Improvement Program

In addition to monetary donations, Butler Downtown relies on in-kind contributions and volunteer involvement to sustain our goals and efforts.  We need your financial support to move forward with the goals and projects of our volunteer-based committees: Design, Organization, Promotion, and Economic Restructuring.  Butler Downtown encourages you to join the following donors who are committed to helping us re-energize downtown Butler.
