Purchase fresh, local, fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs, baked goods and a variety of flowers and plants according to season; and, help support local Butler County growers by visiting the Butler City Farmers Market on Saturdays in May. The newly renovated market is located at the intersections of Chestnut, Race and Shore Streets. In May, the market will be open on Saturdays from 7:30 am to noon. As the growing season progresses in June, the farmers market will have expanded hours on Monday and Wednesday from 2:00 – 6:00pm, and Saturdays 7:30am – noon. Brand new this year, is the opportunity for customers to sign up for the Northwest Pennsylvania Growers Co-op Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. Customers participating in this program will enjoy fresh, local vegetables that can be picked-up at the Butler City Farmer's Market on Wednesdays from 4:30-6:00pm.
